Project geography

Andilamena area

Location

The project is located in the Andilamena area, within the communes of Saranamba and Andilamena. Geologically it is an alluvial zone along waterways where placer accumulations form.

Infrastructure

A ~40 km road was built (2017–2018). EXPLORER SARL base and production zone are constructed, with beneficiation and storage areas in place.

Operations

Equipment & processing

Heavy equipment

2 hydraulic excavators, 1 bulldozer, 2 dumpers, “Ural” truck, “Yamaha” buggy.

Beneficiation

3 technical containers, fuel tanks, and a processing area with an industrial washing unit for placer material beneficiation.

Main product

Mineralised horizon is confirmed after removing sterile overburden (~6–7 m). Finds include jewellery-quality red ruby and pink sapphire; associated minerals add revenue potential (garnets, quartz, topaz, etc.).

Independent evaluations & technology

Risk reduction + scale plan

Independent technical expertise

Before scaling, EXPLORER SARL conducted independent technical evaluation using complementary methods: field engineering-geological survey, GPR, and ground geophysics — magnetometry, gamma spectrometry, and ERT.

Borehole hydraulic mining (BHM)

We implement borehole hydraulic mining with near-borehole primary beneficiation and manual sorting. Estimated total operating efficiency vs traditional mining may increase up to 5× due to point extraction, continuous hydraulic transport, and simultaneous primary beneficiation.
